Over the last few years, Lifeofabeautygirl By Sam Cahill - Makeup Artist has helped clients look and feel their best in the Ilkeston area and beyond. As a child, I was always intrigued with the way makeup could transform anyone’s looks for a day - especially famous people who never looked the same twice! It eventually led me to follow my passion and become a Make Up Artist myself - it is what I have always wanted to do since being a chid (although I took a little detour into the legal field as my first career!) This passion and enthusiasm, along with the loyalty and support of my wonderful clients means I have some wonderful Awards and Achievements which I am so proud of!

Lifeofabeautygirl by Sam Cahill - Makeup Artist won 2023 Wedding Makeup Artist of the year at The Wedding Industry Awards for the East Midlands Region.
Just like last year, Finalists were chosen based on client feedback. Couples who married and used my makeup services from October 2021 to October 2022. The overall Winner was chosen based off that client feedback and an independent panel of Judges who thoroughly researched the Makeup Artist Finalists and crowned Lifeofabeauty by Sam Cahill - Makeup Artist as their winner!!!

Lifeofabeautygirl by Sam Cahill - Makeup Artist won 2022 Wedding Makeup Artist of the Year at The Wedding Industry Awards for the East Midlands Region.
Finalists were chosen based on feedback from Couples who married between October 2020 to October 2021. The overall Winner was chosen based off client feedback and an independent panel of Judges who thoroughly researched the Makeup Artist Finalists and crowned Lifeofabeauty by Sam Cahill - Makeup Artist as their winner!!!

Makeup Artist of the Year 2019
At the Midlands Beauty Industry Awards - Birmingham
At the last MBIA in 2019 (due to Covid-19) I was overwhelmed with delight when I received the Award for 'Makeup Artist of the Year'. I was absolutely elated to receive such a prestigious title thanks to votes from my wonderful clients putting me into a Finalist position and finally an independent panel choosing me as the overall winner.
I was featured in the Derby Evening Telegraph, Ilkeston Life, The Ilkeston Enquirer and Ilkeston Advertiser newspapers! I was also interviewed on BBC Radio Derby! It was amazing to be recognised for my work and achievements and the journey I've been on from working at my dining table to my beautiful makeup bar!
I am so proud of this award! And it inspires me to keep moving forward, bettering myself and my skills. Thank you to everyone who helped this happen!

I was so happy to receive Makeup Artist of the Year - Gold Winner at The British Hair and Beauty Awards! I was chosen by an independent panel, mystery shoppers and reviews, work and feedback! I am so proud to showcase both my beautiful awards in my Makeup Bar!
